I’ve always dreamed of starting my own modest clothing line. As a daily abaya wearer, I felt abayas were the perfect place to start! I began looking into manufacturers, and that’s when I found The Abaya Mentor.

It was amazing to have someone with so much knowledge and experience in the industry, as well as great connections with manufacturers, to guide me through the process. I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better person to support and guide me in bringing my vision to life and creating what is now Luna Habibty, a modest clothing brand for my habibties.

Two years ago I started my abaya brand. I have worked with over 5 different manufacturers, been scammed 2 times and have lost hundreds in samples due to miscommunication and lack of customer service. I have been ghosted by many manufacturers and told many times my designs are too complicated to be made etc.

Thanks to abaya mentor I have managed to work with Aliya, a manufacturer in UAE, who has helped me create my new collection. From the beginning she has communicated with me with the whole production process. I started off with samples getting made. I wasn’t satisfied with the embroidery work and sizing but her team kept changing it until I was satisfied. I’m so glad to have been able to work with them and so grateful alhamdulillah I don’t know what I would have done without them.

Yes, entirely. Our partner manufacturers do not enforce minimum limits, meaning you can order samples or tiny production runs safely.

Do you make the clothes?

No. I mentor and introduce. The manufacturer bills you directly and I take no cut.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, on all three paid packages.
